2005 National Excellence in Construction Award of Excellence
TerWisscha Construction was chosen to build an expansion
and rennovation on an existing turkey processing plant that
had been shut down for three years. Due to a schedule
commitment the project owners made to the turkey growers,
there was only seven months allowed to design, rennovate the
existing plant, build a new addition install processing equipment
and start-up the plant.
On August 11, 2004 TerWisscha was contacted by
Willmar Poultry Company about their intent to
purchase the plant, and by March 21st 2005 the first
truck load of turkeys were delivered.
