TWC was started in 1964 by John TerWisscha in Willmar, MN. The company started as a local, residential construction firm and transitioned into the commercial market in 1970.
Upon retiring in 1996, John TerWisscha sold the company to his son, Kelly TerWisscha, and son-in-law, Keith Nelson.
Once in the commercial market, TWC decided to focus on niche markets in order to become experts in these niche markets. Today, TWC works within the Veterinary, Death Care, General Dentistry, and Oral Surgery markets.
TWC’s unique approach to the Design/Build process starts by teaming up with you in the very beginning phases of your project. From assistance in selecting the perfect site for your practice, performing feasibility studies, and design options, we work with you to see that your project is accomplished in a way that will be best for your business and budget.
As a partner with you, we are committed to studying the changes in your industry so that you are assured of having a facility that will help you meet your client’s needs today and into the future.
Construction Contractors Advisory Board
Contractors Advisory Board: CAB Group
The Contractors Advisory Board is a peer-to-peer program, bringing together contractors for win-win sharing. This group is made up of similar non-competing contractors that meet to discuss matters of business and personal interest. The trust and open exchange of information allows members to learn from others and share ideas. TWC has been associated with the CAB group for many years. The CAB group consists of 4 contractors. The group meets two times a year and each company takes a turn hosting the meeting. The CAB group by far exceeded all of TWC's expectations. Through the CAB group, TWC has been exposed to innovative ideas, technologies, and processes that others in the construction industry are using. The group also serves as a great sounding board for ideas, thoughts, and concerns that result in non-threatening and constructive feedback. Best of all, the CAB group has created a wonderful group of friendships.
